Simple “Spring” Style

Welcome to Ohio where it’s 60+ degrees and still February. This can’t be real life! What a perfect weekend to break out some spring transition pieces as we wave good-bye to the snow! {Well…for a couple days at least.}

Spread the Yay

I did a mini-spree at Old Navy a few weeks back. They have the some of the best go-to pieces to add to your wardrobe without breaking the bank. The shirts I’ve listed & linked below are perfect to wear by themselves or layered. You can throw them on to play around the house with your kiddo, run some errands, meet a girlfriend for lunch, or throw on a statement piece {You know I LOVE a great statement necklace!} for a night out!

Grey shirt is the same for both outfits! Dress it up or down!

If you saw my “Perfect Plaid” post {HERE}, you know I’m all about pieces that transition simply from daytime playtime to a date night out. As a full-time career woman, full-time mommy, and full-time wifey like many of you are, there are days that the last thing I want to think about is putting together multiple outfits. Make life easy and buy a few staple pieces that you can play with during the transition away from winter wear!

Tomorrow on the blog, we’ll be talking about 3 simple/healthy tips to kick-start your week and stay on track!

Happy Saturday, everyone! Leave the coat at home and have some fun “Spring” shopping over this February weekend!

Shop the look {clickable names below will take you directly to the item}:

Old Navy Split Back Tulip Sweater (Heather Gray is shown above in both outfits. I love the back because it splits open towards the bottom! Adds a little oomph to a simple gray piece. I have to admit, I ended up buying the Mint Dish color, too. PERFECT spring color and both actually pair well with the blush cardigan below.)

Old Navy Shawl Collar Open-Front Cardigan (Color in picture above is Blushin Up. Found the fit to be a little big so size down.)

Old Navy Linen Boyfriend Tee (Not pictured, but another new FAVORITE! More casual than the Tulip sweater above. The Dark Charcoal Grey goes with everything.)

Navy blanket scarf is no longer available. Search “Plaid Blanket Scarf” on Etsy and you can find so many great ones!
